I just wanted to say a quick few words here.

Its been along time since we have actually received comments from all of you out there. Now I know that it can be a pain and frankly i have to admit i very very rarely will leave comments on anyone else's blogs, and thats fine with me... no hurt feelings here

I just want to mention that we have recently received quite a few comments on the blog, via the blog and emails as of late and it's really nice to hear that you guys are still out there and you like what we have been up to.

So thanks for reading.... if people still care what we are up to, I'll keep blogging

Soooo.
Ive decided after years of Photographing the Northern Lights up here i have failed to show you guys what we are lucky enough to see on a fairly regular Basis. After much thought and planning and reading of camera manuals i have figured out how to make movies that are reasonably close to the movement and flow of the Northern Lights. This is one of my first attempts so dont judge me to harshly... Im pretty excited about this process and plan on making many more movies over the next few months. So check back in to see more lights.

Well this here is a long Movie of Abby playing with her new drums... yup you read that right... Nicole went to a lonnie tonnie the other day and won a drum set fit for little people. Of course the kid took right to them. Hope you like the movie.

Its been a while but heres a post... well not really a post as much as its a movie... We just thought you might like to see what Abigail looks like these days

Well here we are again for another year in the North.

This place really has grabbed Nic and I in a way that we never expected. We have grown to love the place the people and all that the arctic has to offer.

We had a fabulous summer and were lucky enough to see friends all over the country. We did a bit of traveling a little bit of fishing and a whole relaxing. The baby also spent a heck of alot of time with both sets of grandparents. All in all a great time.

On a sad note a very good friend of ours lost his life in Pangnirtung this summer in a freak boating accident. This will certainly leave a hole in many peoples hearts that won't soon be filled. He was a excellent father, a gifted hunter and all round special man. I for one feel lucky to have known him. Rest in Peace Noah Metuq.

Ok so. we have been up to a few things in the short time we have been back and of course as you would expect i have had my camera with me.

Right off the bat i should tell you that we finally broke down and bought an atv this year so now we can do exploring that might have been to far for Nicole and Myself to go.

This first shot is from the end of the road to nowhere that now actually is the road to the quarry, looking back towards town.

the second is from the same night just an hour or so later.

I was lucky enough to get out on Donald's new boat and do some berry picking and just all round nautical fun.
