  • Yet another week has gone by without a post. I just can't believe how these weeks have been flying by. Before we know it it'll be summer!! This past week we have both been working at our respective jobs and have spent the evenings coaching basketball and attending archery. I was able to attend archery this past Friday with Mike and got a couple of good pictures (which hopefully will be loaded this week sometime if our internet ever runs properly!)

    This weekend we enjoyed archery Friday night, a relaxing day Saturday including cleaning and Mike heading on a rescue mission (not so relaxing part). Two teachers headed out cross country skiing this weekend and one ended up injured way the heck outta town. One of the teachers showed up at our door wondering if Mike could go retrieve the injured skier on the hill with the snowmobile. Mike headed up and got him and took him to the health center. He busted his ankle up pretty good and we have yet to hear the diagnosis. Last night we enjoyed a nice get together/dinner at Markus (works at the GN) and Delia's (Parks Canada Manager) complete with quite a few games of Dutch Blitz (thanks to Danielle and Ty for the Christmas present!) Today we again did some relaxing and cleaning.

    So not a whole lot of exciting news but guess that's life in the north. Hope everyone had a great week and weekend and enjoyed the Super Bowl!
