• Rotary Dinner Theme was Recipes from Mom

  Hello from the north

  By the way thanks to the new posters on the chatterbox. Kris we'll see what we can do.

  Tonight dinner was quite great, the cool thing was everyone made recipes that they got from the their mothers. Even better was each dish came with a story. I wish i could repeat them, but we don't have all day. But i can tell ya what everyone brought.   

  Ok so.. Nicole brought the famous Braeckman turnip cheese dish. I brought Mississippi Mud, Craig brought Home made mac and cheese, Patrick brought a seafood soup, Claus brought baked chicken, Kim brought a (hard  to describe) it was a mixed salad with bacon, eggs, peas, and all sorts of other things... very good, and Aus brought a bread with some great dip. All was fantastic.

  We also changed the whole living room around this weekend. here's a quick look at the new layout.

  

  Also we put together our spare bed into another couch, inspired by Patrick, Kim and Aus. After alittle bit of sewing i was able to wack together a fitted sheet with a few pillows (thanks for the idea Mrs Chapelle). I think it turned out pretty good.
