  • Sorry for the wait

Well it's been boring here so there hasn't been really anything to post. But today the crew went out for a bit of a walk. The saying of the day was " my eye lids keep freezing together " very true!!! we went for a walk in -35c with wind it was around -40c very cold. The walk lasted somewhere around 2 hours.

To bad Nicole had to turn back quite early into the walk because Siku could not handle that kind of cold, we both think that soon she will though. Anyways so bummer for Nicole but she volunteered to take Siku back. But i did get a few shots of her before she left.

Here she is with Siku. oh by the way Nicole kept telling me how hot she was in all her winter gear, very good, because she's always cold.

Here we both are all toasted with Cumberland sound in the back ground. as you see I'm wearing my Kamik. My feet were very toasty as long as i kept moving.

So i told you the saying of the day! here's a few examples of why that was adopted by the group.

This as Austin told me is made by the famous Arctic snow snake. I suggested that it may be from a lemming, but he was sure it was a snake...i said "maybe". By the way for all you southerns that are now thinking " snakes in the Arctic? ok... I didn't know that " There's no such thing!!!
