Skiing on the Fiord
We got out today for a ski. The ski lasted 3-4 hours, and it was enjoyed by all. After a few falls and some rusty skiing skills we all got used to the process and soon we were moving at a good pace. So i'm not going to bore you tonight with words I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
Here's Nicole and Kim skiing along.
Heres a very different view of our town, with the gang in the right corner...WAY back there. This happened because i flipped up my parka as we started to move (you can only here your breathing while it's up) so someone said "off we go" and off i went, and got into a pretty good rhythm. I thought "no one has called out to me for a while" so i stopped...oops... They stopped to take a few pictures. I was careful after that not to get to far ahead.
Craig on the ground with his freshly re-modeled ski pole.
Here we are the whole group paused for a hot chocolate
Nicole is alittle confused as to where she is...Kim was too, Wierd
So was Aus!!!!
Maybe we were all aliitle messed up...Beach theme in the Arctic Circle is very sweet . Just we were missing a few important things..like THE SUN!!!, sand, surf, bikinis, ice cream(we had ice though), sandles, beach towles, sun screen, beach balls, life gaurds and most importantly WARM AIR!!!!! but lots of fun none the less.
Here's a few more of the silhouet shots that i have been playing with.
