| | This past Friday, as we are nearing the end of the year, we decided to take the junior high students on a picnic at the end of the road. We started at the school and hiked down to the end of the road near the rock quarry (about 3 or 4 km). Took us a little over an hour to walk. It was one of the most beautiful days we've had this spring and we had a great day outside!
I walked there with a group of grade 6 girls:

The students had a nice time relaxin/roasting hotdogs and marshmellows and having juice and hot chocolate:
A couple people from Pang set up their tents at the end of the road so that they can go down as often as they like to enjoy bbq's and bonfires/hanging out with family and camping over night. Here are the 3 tents that are there right now:
Aside from that we went on a great hike Friday night and had a rather eventful weekend that we'll post about later.
We can't believe how quickly this year has gone by and are looking forward to being in the "south" two weeks tomorrow!!
